PRICED TO SELL, EX DEMO, 60 HOURS, AND IMMACULATE This Monterrey 298SS was owned by the ex Monterrey Importer and after enjoying it for many years with his family, its time to move it quick. This boat started above $200K but now into winter... A massive price adjustment to $165K. This vessel has only 60 hours on the Twin 250HP Mercruiser 4.5L inboards, and is in a very good condition for a 4 year old boat (we would consider putting it into the Sanctuary Cove boat show given quality). It is incredibly rare to see a boat in this condition for sale at such a low price considering the hours/previous usage. The Monterrey 298 SS is well known for its ride, sitting up like a UFO hovering over the water with what feels like incredibly minimal drag and great efficiency. The vessel runs nicely around 26 Knots chewing 28L approx. It really runs beautifully compared to many other brands we know and have used, very impressive on this front. The Engine and SternDrive has been serviced in 2025, plus fresh antifoul completed in March 2025. We particularly like the practicality of the inboard stern drive configuration with twin 4.5L Seacore Mercruisers, easily accessible with a fantastic electric hatch mechanism which doubles as an extendable sunbed on top with amble walkaround space and duckbourd surrounding it. Enjoy all the manoueverability and navigation comforts with the Mercury Joystick Control System, Electric throttle controls with the Mercury "Auto Trim" system (which is fabulous), plus trim tabs, mercury engine display... It really has all the tech to make a day on the water safe, easy and enjoyable.
