About this vessel
This custom-built 48ft sailing catamaran is designed for fast cruising, offshore capability, and comfortable liveaboard living. Equipped with custom sails and daggerboards, Chillin tracks confidently upwind with the boards down. When sailing downwind, the boards can be raised to unlock exhilarating performance, often delivering double-digit speeds. Handling remains refreshingly simple, as electric halyard handling and headsail furling reduce workload and make short-handed sailing both safe and enjoyable.
With a generous 7.8m beam and a practical galley-down layout, the interior feels open, light, and welcoming. The saloon and cockpit connect seamlessly, making the space ideal for relaxed mornings at anchor or entertaining guests. The warm cherry wood interior finish adds a sense of refined comfort throughout.
Positioned forward, the navigation station supports both traditional and digital passage planning. It doubles as a functional work-from-home space with ample room to spread charts or set up a laptop while still enjoying natural airflow and views from the anchorage.
Thoughtful onboard comforts enhance life afloat. The oversized daybed-style cockpit bench creates a relaxed outdoor lounge, and air conditioning ensures comfort during warm, still nights. Extended independence is supported by a watermaker, generator, and 1kW of solar power. Combined with a shallow 90cm draft, this configuration allows access to secluded anchorages that many monohulls simply cannot reach.
