A Brief Overview of Jo Boating JO Boating was founded by Flagstaff Marine, an award-winning dealership representing some of the leading brands of boats in the world including, Beneteau Sailing boats, Beneteau Inboard Power boats, Excess Catamarans, Amel yachts and Lomac Rigid Inflatables. In the world of the ever-growing shared economy in so many facets of our life it was only natural that we introduced a shared or Joint Ownership program - JO Boating. JO Boating offers shares in a range of boats including Sailing Yachts, Power Boats, Catamarans and Day Boats / Day Cruisers.

How does it work? Our unique programs have been carefully structured to maximise your enjoyment through ease of use and time on the water. There are a limited number of 6 shares. The term of ownership is 3 years, ending November 2026. Unless extended by mutual agreement of all owner the boat will be sold, and each owner will receive a share of the sale price equivalent to the number of shares they hold, less a small brokerage fee. You can also sell your share through Flagstaff Marine at any time during the three years should your circumstances change. Each boat share entitles you to 56 days per year usage plus unlimited standby days. Bookings are administered via an easy online booking system which ensure each owner gets equal access to booking their 56 days usage which includes a minimum 16 weekend days per year, and you can also reserve up to 7 consecutive days for that longer cruise.

The monthly cost is $1,480 Inc GST. Per owner, this covers all anticipated annual costs including: Berthing. Boat Insurance. Engine servicing as per the manufactures recommended service schedule. Annual haul out, hull clean and antifoul. Preparation of the vessel prior to each departure. Cleaning of boat on its return. Regular deep cleans through the entire boat. Ongoing maintenance and upkeep of your boat. Maintenance of all necessary safety gear. You will receive 2 x 10am - 4pm induction sessions with our in-house skipper to get you going and for a small additional cost you can book additional sessions or hire the skipper for the day to leave you free to entertain your guests.
