About this vessel
Every now and then you see a boat built by an owner who has considered every final detail, drawing on years of boating experience and delivering a final product that blows you away. This Custom 30' Expedition Catamaran provides that, a build job of over 2,000 hours that no-one was prepared to go near and the finished product, simply exceptional.
Starting with the Yamaha F300 outboards with Helm Master EX in Offshore White colourway. Cleverly picked not only for the Helm Master with Spot Lock technology, but also efficient through the water and weighing only 260kg each - ensuring total vessel weight is low. This package with a trailer (by separate negotiation) weighs under 4.5T, with fuel on board.
The SeaDeck flooring sits above two fuel tanks and two live wells, self draining allowing stability at rest, turn these into circulating tanks by plugging the deck wash in. If 680 litres of fuel doesn't cut the mustard, these have been designed to convert easily to additional fuel bladders increasing fuel on board to over 1000 litres.
The bait board on the transom cleverly lifts up to provide a wind block for your dual burner gas cooktop. Alongside, a hot and cold transom shower, saltwater deck wash-down and beneath are securely stored and isolated gas bottles.
4 rod holders either side slightly angled so your lines aren't on top of each other along with one each side for trolling, underneath are anderson plugs to port and starboard, used for electric reels or anything else requiring power.
Behind the lock up cabin the standing room head with salt water toilet, accommodation has been made for holding tank should you be spending time in Marine Parks. To port, the IsoTherm Fridge freezer draws a cork in the ocean from this system, above a beautiful corian bench top with 10mm lip to prevent spillage on to the deck and a Hot and Cold sink.
In the cabin your helm to the right is simple to operate with one 16" Simrad MFD with Autopilot incorporated, the Yamaha Helm Master Joystick and latest throttles allow cruise control to set your speed. Position lock and drift lock are some of the amazing features the Helm Master provides, makes sense these are a nonnegotiable for real fisho's.
Twin co-pilot chairs to port lead you down to the queen size double, a vast space with genuine head height. The deck hatch above has dark tinted windows, keeping heat out and letting the perfect amount of light in.
Coating of this boat was carefully completed by Jamelka Coatings, non-skid applied to all areas required.
If you're considering a Sailfish, Outlaw, Preston Craft, Alumarine, Razerline, Shockwave or any aluminium cat - You need to check this out, well under replacement cost, this Cat stands out from the rest.
