This can be attributed to the heavily laid fibreglass and deep-V hull design. Initially I was concerned with the forward helm being so far forward, but these boats cut through the chop and they land soft and the benefit you get is a vastly bigger back deck than your standard rib. Designed for getting through the waves in South Africa after being beach launched, the Crusader Ribs handle the West Aussie conditions with ease. The hulls are imported from South Africa (2 year warranty) with the outboard motors and electronics fitted in Australia (local manufacturer warranty). Trailer frames manufactured in South Africa with undercarriage and towing gear fitted locally by John Papas Trailers and registered with the DOT.
