The 2024 Manitou Explore 22 Bench is a pontoon boat built with V-Toon technology. The precise positioning of the centre tube, along with positive angle lifting strakes, results in the exact degree of deadrise needed to simulate a standard v-shaped hull.
Standard features include reinforced nose cones designed with a forward knife edge, providing a sharper leading edge into the water and delivering a flatter riding pontoon boat with less bow rise. Strategically placed lifting strakes allow for faster and smoother acceleration and handling. Splash guards are designed to keep everyone onboard dry.
The exterior features sleek and modern automotive-inspired styling designed with premium aluminium panels. A gas-assisted, easy-to-use forward-folding Sport Bimini comes standard and offers 3.6 metres of coverage with an approved rating up to 50 knots.
The redesigned captain's helm features a new dashboard layout with 4 unique sections dedicated to key functions: phone charging, radio control, vessel monitoring, and vessel switching. A trifold bench provides 3-in-1 functionality as a bench, table, and open space. Newly designed cupholders and speakers have been integrated into the walls.
Construction includes formed aluminium walls, a V-Toon hull, anti-spray integrated splash fins, moulded foam seats, 100% composite decking, extruded aluminium crossmembers, a powder-coated lift gate and rub rail, and stainless steel mooring cleats. The boat is NMMA certified using ABYC standards.
