About this vessel
Introducing the Navan S30, kitted out with every perceivable extra, available for immediate sale with Power and Sail Marine. The Navan S30 is built by Brunswick Corp, out of the same factory as the Boston Whaler's. Brunswick Corp are responsible for some of the biggest names in the marine industry; Mercury, Boston Whaler, Sea Ray, Simrad etc. Navan Boats are their latest line of adventure boats, challenging the Axopar, Saxdor Market, which is quickly becoming the most popular style of boating globally. Built to the highest standards, the Navan S30 performs incredibly well in our West Aussie conditions and when the weather calms you can reach a top speed of 54 knots! This high speed can be attributed to the twin step hull and the axe-bow design.
One of the fundamental differences between the Navan and the other adventure boats is the CE rating, which is a mandatory safety certification for recreational boats sold in the European Union. The categories (A, B, C, and D) indicate a boat's design capacity to handle various weather and sea conditions, from offshore voyages to sheltered waters. C Class is for inshore and coastal waters and B Class is for Offshore, with A representing expedition style extended voyages. When compared to Axopar 29 and Saxdor 32 each share 9 for inshore and 6 for offshore. The Navan S30 has 12 for inshore and 10 for offshore, a clear representation to the heavier construction and offshore capability of this model when compared to others.
The configuration of the S30 is tailored to entertaining, providing a variety of arrangements and absolute comfort for the owner and their guests. Forward you'll see the sun-lounge with hinged back rests, this space is reachable via very accommodating companionways. At the helm you're greeted with the luxurious Mercury digital controls and powerful Lewmar bow thruster, twin 12" Simrad screens with Mercury SmartCraft integrated provide everything required for navigation or engine control. Aft of the helm and co-pilot seat is bench seating for 3-4, elevated above the wetbar providing a great view forward, yet protection from the elements. This seat can be folded aft, presenting the wet bar with open esky, sink with faucet and cooktop. Beneath are two Dometic 20L drawer fridges. When this seat is folded down your aft seating is converted to twin bench seats with a beautiful teak foldable table, cleverly designed to be utilised on either side of this seating arrangement. At the stern are twin boarding platforms, with transom doors to keep the little ones safe on board.
The cabin is beautifully appointed with full length side windows, roof hatch and luxurious finishes. A third dometic drawer fridge sits below, with plenty of storage on the starboard side. The head is fitted with a vacuflush toilet with holding tank, hot and cold faucet and a shower.
The usability of this model is sensational, where some of the adventure boats leave you quite cramped, the S30 and it's centre console style gives an open feel with plenty of space for multiple people to navigate the boat. This S30 is fitted with clears that wrap around the helm area, easily zipped on when the weather really picks up. An incredibly dry boat and very smooth to drive, when tested by Power and Sail Marine we experienced 15 knots of wind and clears were off. We reached 47 knots in this sea state without playing around with the trim!
