About this vessel
Freeman's 42 LR is all about reach, pace and efficiency, and this custom build leans in with an 800-gal fuel load, Haze Gray topsides and a full Deckit package that keeps traction sure from bow to transom. The deck plan is pure fish: a 1,200-qt coffin lounge, twin 400-qt forward boxes, twin floor wells (70 gal each) with pumpout and multiple mains keep baits lively and the catch iced. Gemlux bases and Marsh Tacky 21' internal outriggers set clean spreads, while the tower with controls tightens your sight lines when you're hunting edges.
At the helm, twin 24" Garmin GPSMAP 9224s drive an upgraded 6' xHD3 1236 open array and dual sounder modules for deep, clear returns; FLIR night vision extends confidence after dark. The "Over-the-Top" stereo brings concert weight, and multi-color lighting, plus added underwater units, sets the mood on the drift. Quad Mercury 400 V10s with joystick make the big cat nimble around docks, and the inverter upgrade, HullPro bottom, extra LP plugs and the polycarbonate enclosure round out a long-range build that's equally dialed for tournament days and blue-water runs.
