The Spanish shipyard Astondoa unveils its AS5 flybridge cruiser, a mid-size motor yacht that imitates the lines of supercars by taking them to the sea. The ASTONDOA AS5 is a 17.35-meter-long boat, designed to meet the wishes of sportive owners who also love beauty and contemporary design combined with luxury, which this Iberian model does not fail to display. This is a fascinating vessel, whose flybridge allows a 360 6 panoramic view surrounded by a full glass canopy. An optional hard top should be seen as a useful choice to give the AS5 an extra touch of beauty. Transparency is particularly emphasized on the main deck: the saloon and the galley are both glazed, and it is in this characteristic that the inspiration of the world of supercars appears, with which Astondoa wants to share its Innovative spirit . Astondoa s objective is also to seek the uniqueness of the product, and it does so with precise aerodynamics dominated by sharp and clean lines up to the bow, grafted transversely on the water and armed with a steel tip from which the anchor can be easily lifted. Uniqueness : Astondoa made the exception a motto, because no two people are alike, just as there are no two Astondoas alike , and this is rightly so, given more than 100 years of maritime history that this brand, based in Alicante, Spain, has established itself by captivating four generations of yachting enthusiasts. The AS5 is related to its older brother the AS8 and brings in its youth a whole new future, while sharing with the previous model a very comfortable access to the stern from the sides as well as several features and options that can be found usually in Superyachts. What seduces about the profile of this stylish and elegant boat is the glazed trapezoid which constitutes almost the entire main deck, to which is added the wide horizontal glass line which characterizes the entire lower deck, where the cabins almost touch the sea. The owner s cabin spreads throughout the entire beam of the boat, with modern furnishings that meet rounded lacquered surfaces, suspended in the air to make room for LED lights on the ground. Total habitability is also reserved for two additional cabins for passengers. There is a beautiful bathroom, fitted with twin satin sinks, with two oval mirrors to complement the decor of the walls in a rich beige with marble veining. The living room is accessed from the aft solarium through a generous sliding door, also glazed. Here, the wood of the floor meets the aluminium frame reflecting off the walls. There is also room for a Home Cinema, with your guests sitting on the comfortable sofas to admire it. Continuing vertically on the flybridge, we find another pleasant and intimate space to share with friends while sailing. The cockpit is absolutely ergonomic and designed specifically to mimic the avant-garde design of sports cars. With 3 engine options, the ASTONDOA AS5 can reach a top speed of 32 knots and can be equipped with stabilizers in navigation and at anchor.
