Unapologetically fast, unapologetically green, the VESPRO 55 Hull #6 by Centouno, launching in 2026, is a bold new build that redefines what performance yachts can be. With a top speed of 56 knots, a cruising speed of 50 knots, and an ultra-efficient waterjet propulsion system, this 16.5-meter sport machine is built for owners who demand precision, sustainability, and style in equal measure.
Every line of VESPRO 55 is engineered for impact. Her new hull design features a low resistance-to-speed ratio, producing 30% less weight than comparable yachts and reducing drag while generating significantly less wake. This advanced form not only enhances handling and efficiency, but dramatically lowers the yacht’s marine environmental impact, with 50% less CO emissions than similar vessels in her class. Under the surface, no rotating parts below the hull ensures added safety and minimal disruption to marine life.
Constructed with a carbon and fiberglass sandwich using vinylester resin and a PVC foam core, VESPRO’s structure is both lightweight and robust. With materials designed to save 50 trees, the yacht makes extensive use of recycled and recyclable components, making her a rare example of performance-driven sustainability.
Below deck, VESPRO 55 offers two intelligent layout options for maximum owner flexibility. The standard configuration features a generous owner’s suite with a private en-suite bathroom including separate shower and toilet, a guest cabin with access to a shared day head, and a port-side lounge area ideal for retreating from the elements. Alternatively, the lounge can be replaced with a twin-bed guest cabin with its own en-suite, while a compact starboard galley and centrally located day head support longer coastal cruises.
The main deck balances function and form with a sleek, sporty aesthetic. The helm is flanked by an L-shaped lounge and facing seating, keeping guests close to the action. A compact starboard kitchenette offers convenience without compromise, while a central sunpad-topped engine hatch seamlessly links to the stern beach club. At anchor, foldable side doors open outward to dramatically expand the beam, creating a wide, open beach platform.
The long foredeck, accessible from both sides, features an inviting sunpad, while air intakes are cleverly concealed in the aft pillars, keeping exterior lines clean and aerodynamic.
