The Spanish yacht builder Astondoa debuted its new ASTONDOA AX8 crossover yacht model line during the Genoa Boat Show in fall of 2023. The ASTONDOA AX8 is an explorer-inspired looking motor yacht, precursor of a new way of living the experience of sailing for pure pleasure, and offering a spaciousness typical of boats of greater size. Plenty of social, entertaining and relaxing areas are found both inside and outside as designed by Cristiano Gatto, prioritizing habitability and spaciousness and living spaces to the maximum of its size and length, with exteriors that open to the sea and interiors with large floor-to-ceiling luminous windows, which perfectly integrate the interior of the vessel to the exterior. Onboard, contemporary style blends with innovative materials and trendy textures to captivate the most exquisite tastes. The ASTONDOA AX8 is also offered in several layout options, from an open or enclosed skylounge and helm station on the flybridge deck, to galley on the main or lower deck, and three, four or even five en-suite cabins. The yacht also features a fore-deck lounge available with a C-shaped dinette and bench forward or opposite facing settees. Powered by twin Volvo IPS 1350 pod drives, ASTONDOA boasts top speed of 23.5 knots and cruises at fifteen knots for a range of 420 nautical miles. This semi-displacement crossover yacht responds firmly and provides maximum stability at sea with zero speed and underway stabilisation.
