About this vessel
The long anticipated addition to the Alaska fleet has arrived with the 44ft Sedan, forged from the same hull mould as her larger cousin the 47 Sedan. Leigh-Smith Yachts have proudly developed the 44ft "Compact version" Alaska without compromise and built to the highest industry standards.
The 44 Sedan boasts the trademark amidships Queen-size master stateroom with spacious en-suite & and the versatile V berth cabin forward with a wet-head to port. Clever design elements are ever-present in the 44 series as the brief was to create a platform that had all the feel, practicality & the amidships cabin form the larger offering into the 44ft hull dimensions. Leigh-Smith says "with so many of our clients often restricted in berthage sizes either at their residence or at their marina, there has been a strong demand for the renowned Alaska finishes, beautiful aesthetics & amidships master layout on the 44ft hull & we have finally delivered this"
One of the class leading differences is the 4.25m beam - variable deadrise hull design offering a far more stable and volumetric platform ensuring the vessel can cruise comfortably at 9-10kn or sprint to 22kn+ yet also is incredibly stable. The new L Shape aft cockpit Settee and upgraded Alfrecso dining table further add to the Alaska 44's feeling of purposeful design.
