Excess 11

The Excess 11 is a 37ft cruising catamaran designed to offer both comfort and sailing performance. Capable of long passages, it is made for enjoying life on board and taking you to remote spots on earth to enjoy isolated coves, abandoned beaches or secret waves.

The Excess 11 has benefited from the experience of her predecessors without sacrificing comfort attributes needed for enjoyable cruising. It offers significant volume worthy of a larger boat in both the saloon and cabins, including a 2 by 2 meter bed in the owner's cabin and bathrooms with separate showers.

On deck, she offers an open cockpit and twin helm stations situated on the aft gunnels, offering real steering sensations and direct contact with the rest of the crew.

The Excess 11 has an assertive and qualitative personality that breaks with the codes of traditional sailboats. Her design is modern and dynamic with refined lines, elegant proportions and perfect balance — a synthesis embodying a racy design that is light and comfortable.

Remarkable Design: The Excess 11 has been designed by VPLP design, one of the most renowned naval architecture companies in the world. The exterior design is by Patrick le Quément, and Nauta Design created the interior design.

Bright Atmosphere: The interior is energized by brilliant light with a perfect design of simplicity and interior woodwork in Cedar and White Touch.

Inspired by Racing, Built for Cruising: With a larger sail area starting at 90m², this catamaran provides more speed and better performance in light winds. The improved adjustment options give optimal control while keeping maneuvers simple and intuitive for the helmsperson.

Twin Aft Helm Station: From one helm station to the other, the Excess 11 offers an ideal view of the sails, the sea and the bows. The control is direct and you are connected to the boat with sail trimming at your fingertips.

Hybrid Propulsion: A hybrid version is now available, combining a genset, lithium battery bank and twin 10kW electric engines for quiet docking maneuvers, fully electric cruising whenever you want, and optimized range.
