About this vessel
PROJECT PETRA is a modern day global explorer designed by Milan based design studio Hot Lab to be built at well respected Turkish shipyard RMK. Key features include a full displacement steel hull, aluminum superstructure, and long cruising range. This is a fully engineered project where construction can begin immediately with a 24 month delivery period.
The core design and layout of the vessel focuses on strong profiles lines that feature a prominent bow meant for blue water cruising, an expansive aft deck that can be configured in a number of different ways with pool, helicopter operations, and tender/toy storage, a 6 guest cabin layout, proper crew accommodations and technical spaces focusing on efficiency and redundancy one would expect in a global cruiser.
PROJECT PETRA is offered in three distinct models targeting three distinct demographics of buyers based on their intended cruising plans. The first model in the series is the CORE version which is the baseline configuration built to Pleasure Class. The second model in the series is the AURA version which is built to Commercial Class. The third model in the series is the INFINITE version which is built to 1D Ice Class.
Each model has a selection of distinct features such as 6 and 7 cabin layouts, optional helicopter operations, aft deck pool, and davits that range from 2-4 tonnes capacity giving each yacht the ability to carry tenders on deck from 6-10m.
PROJECT PETRA is a rugged yet sophisticated new construction project featuring timeless lines, pedigree engineering, and the touch of class one would expect from Hot Lab and RMK.
