The Antares 8 V2 OB Cruising is a modern weekender tailored for Australian conditions, equally at home in sheltered harbours, broad estuaries and winding river systems. Measuring just over 8.2 metres in length with a beam of approximately 2.8 metres, it strikes a balance between a compact footprint and generous volume, delivering a soft, confident ride and easy manoeuvrability for both new and experienced skippers.
Inside the bright wheelhouse, panoramic glazing and effective ventilation create a calm, weatherproof retreat on longer runs. The dinette converts for overnighting, complemented by a snug forward berth, while the enclosed bathroom adds privacy and convenience for weekends away. With around 100 litres of freshwater on board, showers and the galley are supplied without the need for constant top-ups.
On deck, safe side-deck access, a protected cockpit, and flexible seating make it simple to switch from cruising to lunch at anchor. Underway, the responsive 250 hp Mercury outboard provides smooth, economical performance for harbour hops and upriver exploration. A 340-litre fuel capacity supports full-day itineraries and relaxed coastal stretches without frequent refuelling, so you can focus on the views rather than the gauge.
