Carpe Diem is a fiberglass-hulled motor yacht with teak deck and superstructure, constructed to meet ABS class standards. The vessel has undergone extensive recent renovation and modernization, with a comprehensive 2024 refit totaling $80,000 in running gear work alone.
The freshly renovated main salon features new carpet and soft furnishings, with ample natural light from large side windows. A hinged tinted glass door opens to the port side, while the starboard side offers a white leather sectional with coffee table. A four-place dining table and 55" TV are positioned forward. A walk-behind bar to port and a second bar with sink, fridge, and icemaker are located on the aft deck, which features both loose and fixed seating under full boat deck overhang.
Below deck, the master cabin features a centerline queen berth and his-and-her heads separated by a large tub/shower. An ensuite double cabin on the port side, often used for guests, offers a queen-size berth and private head with stall shower. Two guest cabins are positioned aft from the foyer: one to port with an athwartships queen bed and private head, and one to starboard with twin berths and private head. A crew cabin in the Vee provides upper and lower berths with a private head and stall shower.
The spacious country kitchen has been updated with new appliances, stone countertops, and a large dining table forward. A galley on the starboard side features a 5-burner electric stovetop, Whirlpool oven, GE microwave, Samsung refrigeration/freezer, and Maytag dishwasher. Additional galley equipment includes two icemakers, a Jenn-Air dual burner on the flybridge, Avanti and Sub-Zero refrigerators, a premium chest freezer, and a GE trash compactor.
The spacious flybridge is accessible via the pilothouse and offers a bar, dining area, starboard-side helm, and tender location aft. Boarding is available via a fixed midship Marquipt Tide Ride ladder from a fixed dock, or via the swim platform with steps to the aft deck from a floating dock. The swim platform features fiberglass with non-skid, courtesy lights at steps, stainless steel handrails, a pantograph centerline engine room door, seven removable stainless steel hoop rails, back-lit stainless steel boat name, shore water hook-up, and a ring camera at engine room entrance.
The 2024 refit included a new Jacuzzi on the sun deck, complete upgrade with all-new Garmin GPS systems, replacement of all audio and video equipment, and comprehensive rebuilds and replacements of all running gear. New interior features throughout the vessel include LED lighting, headliner, bedding, carpet, galley floor, teak stairs, and new aft deck teak chairs. Exterior work included new paint on upper deck and stern.
