Raven — formerly Blue Flash — is an exceptionally well-prepared 2019 J/Boats J/121 and one of the most comprehensively outfitted and optimized examples in North America.
The J/121 is a 40-foot offshore performance yacht designed to be raced competitively with a crew of five or fewer, while still offering the versatility for inshore racing, distance racing, daysailing, and weekend cruising. Purpose-built for speed, manageability, and offshore capability, the J/121 has earned a strong reputation as one of the best shorthanded offshore designs in the J/Boats lineup.
Raven (Blue Flash) proved her pedigree immediately, winning her class in the 2019 Transpac and subsequently earning numerous podium finishes in high-profile West Coast events. Since then, she has been continually upgraded, refined, and optimized by leading West Coast professionals including North Sails, SD Boatworks, Artie Means, Offshore Outfitters, and other top-tier marine specialists.
With a deep North Sails inventory, extensive 2025 systems upgrades, offshore communications, lithium power, watermaker, Starlink, redundant electronics, custom deck systems, and a highly refined racing layout, Raven is ready for serious coastal or offshore competition.
