Accalia was built by renowned Brisbane boatbuilder Les Thomas in 1983. His timber cruisers are celebrated for their robust construction and timeless design. If you're coastal cruising or ready to explore the South Pacific, this vessel will be more than capable of taking you anywhere you want to go. With a fuel capacity of 8,000 litres and the efficient Caterpillar 3406B diesel engine, she will achieve a very economical cruising speed of 7.5 knots @ 12 litres p/h.
Accalia is equipped with water makers, generator, inverters, dive compressor and ample storage, making her perfect for remote cruising in places like Tasmania or tropical North Queensland with spacious saloon, large galley, air-conditioned cabins, and accommodation for up to 6 people. The layout includes double berth aft and 2 double bunk cabins forward, ideal for family or group voyages. Practical features like bow thruster, naiad fins and static stabilizers, and generous deck space for tenders, equipment and onboard enjoyment.
With a reputation for reliability, she was shipped to Alaska where she cruised extensively before return to Australia on her own bottom.
