SEA BOLD, a custom-built motor yacht reminiscent of C. Raymond Hunt's classic designs, was crafted in 2003 by New England Boatworks in Rhode Island. This unique vessel boasts a timeless elegance paired with high functionality, perfect for yachting enthusiasts seeking luxury and performance. Constructed with epoxy and e-glass over PVC coring with carbon fiber reinforcement, SEA BOLD offers exceptional strength and seakeeping abilities with a deep vee hull design. Her construction results in lightweight, superior strength, and therefore excellent performance and efficiency. Following a comprehensive refit in 2019-2020, she remains in immaculate condition under the care of a dedicated captain/engineer and steward. Consistent upgrades and service, as well as regular use, have kept this yacht in excellent condition.
Large seating areas have beautiful sightlines in the spacious Salon. White walls and ceiling sections, contrasted with teak trim and cabinetry, provide a comfortable elegance to this space and through the same level to the forward windows. Covered side decks provide added shade. Beyond the built-in bar console area and flybridge stairway are the Dining Room and Study.
Forward of the bar console is the dining room, which seats eight. Like the Salon, this area has beautiful natural lighting thanks to all the windows and side deck doors.
As was present on other vessels designed for northeastern United States customers, Sea Bold has a beautiful area to be used for desk work or a serene reading area under the warm light from the forward windows.
What was two matching staterooms with ensuite heads and large sliding doors in the adjoining bulkhead, is now a single, full-beam owner's suite. One side has been altered to become a parlor by cutting approximately ¾ of the berth away and forming the remaining beautiful headboard and side tables into a built-in sofa. A coffee table now accompanies the sofa to form a wonderful seating area for the owner and the remaining full head may be used in addition to the one on the opposite side. Alternatively, this parlor may be separated from the stateroom by closing the sliding doors, still leaving entry and exit to and from the lower foyer for the owner's stateroom as well as the parlor. In this case, one of the other staterooms which share a head may have access to the parlor's ensuite head.
Down the stairs to starboard of the Study is the full beam Galley. To port is a U-shaped cooking area. The large refrigeration units are centerline and to starboard is a dinette. This area is properly designed for use by a professional chef and crew but can also serve as a fantastic eat-in set-up for family use.
A staircase forward of Salon provides interior access to the Enclosed Flybridge. This space contains a beautiful helm with multiple helm chairs, is a fantastic lounge area with a huge chart table with bench seating and a chair, built-in cabinetry, a large television and a day head. Big windows give the captain great sightlines and add to the warm feel from teak furnishings and sole. A day head is aft, as well as a door to the outdoor flybridge seating and boat deck.
Aft of the Enclosed Flybridge is an Outdoor Seating area beneath the extended roof. To port is built-in fiberglass seating with storage and a dining table between the seating benches. To starboard is an entertainment built-in with a sink, refrigeration, storage and a television. The addition of a cooktop or grill would easily make this an additional galley.
The Lower Aft Deck has covered seating for six and a wet bar/storage area. The Salon is steps away, as well as a ladder to the fly bridge. This area is surrounded by waist-high combing with walk-through gates, offering amazing protection for small children or pets, enabling the salon door to be kept open for seamless passage in and out while entertaining. A canvas extension provides additional weather protection over the seating, and another removable sail can be extended over the portion of the aft deck which lies outside of the seating area, where 3 more chairs are located.
Walk-around decks provide unobstructed access around the boat. There are in-deck storage compartments on the side decks, a large storage compartment in the forward section of the coach top, and a bosun's locker aft on the starboard side. Stairs lead down to a 6-foot-wide swim platform, which has an in-deck compartment which fits the tide-ride stair system.
Two crew staterooms are forward of the Galley, one to port and the other to starboard. Each has two bunks and an ensuite head. There are drawers and hanging lockers in each crew stateroom as well.
A hatch in the deck of the Lower Aft Deck leads down to the massive engine room, located in the after-most compartment. Equipment access is outstanding. The engine room is kept clean and tidy throughout.
