About this vessel
Feisty Lady is a 2005 Nordhavn 47 (Hull #31) offering well-equipped cruising capability with significant recent upgrades and maintenance. The vessel combines practical trawler design with comfortable accommodations and modern electronics suitable for extended voyages.
The salon features a crescent settee to starboard with new UltraLeather cushions, and dual power recliners to port, both recently refreshed. Granite countertops and a well-appointed galley with Sub-Zero teak-trimmed refrigerator, GE Profile appliances including a four-burner propane stovetop, electric oven, and microwave provide comfortable meal preparation. Entertainment includes a Samsung 32" monitor on power lift, Vizio surround sound, and Fusion marine stereo with multi-zone speaker coverage. The pilothouse features a Stidd Ultraleather helm chair with power adjustment, raised dinette with granite surface, and a watch berth aft.
The owner's stateroom amidships offers a queen berth with ensuite head and shower, while a forward guest stateroom with double berth and ensuite head provides additional accommodation. Both staterooms feature hanging lockers and storage.
The main engine is a Lugger L1066T 174 hp diesel with keel cooling and dry stack exhaust, paired with a Lugger 844D 44 hp wing engine. A Northern Lights M843 12 KW generator in sound shield provides reliable power, supported by comprehensive electrical systems including Victron battery management, Magnum inverter/charger, and recent low-draw distribution panel upgrades.
Navigation and surveillance systems are comprehensive: dual Furuno radars, Furuno TZt 12" touchscreen plotter, Advantech fanless PC driving twin Dell monitors with TimeZero Professional V5.4 software, Simrad AP-70 autopilot with cockpit repeater, Koden satellite compass, dual VHF radios, and Class A AIS. Starlink connectivity provides modern communications.
Climate control includes Webasto FCF Platinum A/C with reverse cycle heating in five zones and an 80,000 BTU hydronic heating system with four separate zones. Fresh water is supplied by a Village Marine 600 gpd water maker, with a Torrid 17-gallon water heater and Dometic Masterflush toilets updated in 2024. Comfort features include hot and cold cockpit shower and fresh/salt water washdown systems.
Deck equipment includes a new 121 lb. Rocna anchor with 400 feet of new galvanized chain, a Highfield 11'2" aluminum-hulled tender with new Tohatsu 25 hp motor and Garmin electronics, and twin motor hoist on mast/boom system. Solar power is provided by two 410-watt half-cut panels on hinged mounts with separate Victron controllers. A Superior offshore six-person life raft, new in 2023, rounds out safety equipment.
Stabilization is managed by ABT-Trac stabilizers, with Side-Power bow and stern thrusters providing excellent maneuvering. Electronic controls are via Mathers systems with pilothouse and stern stations. The vessel has received significant recent attention, with numerous systems and components updated or renewed in 2024, 2025, and 2026.
