ANNA J is a pedigree OCEANCO superyacht recently refitted with a 4-meter extension, engine overhaul, and new stabilizers. An experienced yacht owner purchased ANNA J, relocated her to Holland, and embarked on a deep methodical refit combining mechanical and exterior work, a full paint, and an extension.
The 4-meter extension, constructed by Dutch Shipyard Van Noorloos under the supervision of Naval Architects Van Dorrestejn Design and Class ABS, gives ANNA J a beautifully balanced profile and creates a versatile aft area for the new owner's interpretation—a beach club or dive center with ample space to dine or dive. Importantly, the extension was designed so ANNA J remains under 50m and 500GT.
From the communication mast to the keel, all surfaces have been painted, inspected, repaired, or replaced. The engine room gleams with new and serviced machinery. The refit is complemented by 4 new Sea Gyro Gyro Stabilizers, located within the extension and providing comfort at anchor. ANNA J also has Naiad Fin Stabilizers for underway use.
The MTU 16V396 TE 94 main engines received a W5-Plus overhaul and now have less than 25 hours since rebuild. A completed 5-year ABS survey confirms the quality of this in-depth refit. There remains room for personalization of the interior; the galley and crew area would benefit from upgrades.
