About this vessel
Cariloy is a four-stateroom raised pilothouse motor yacht with separate crew quarters. The yacht is maintained by a permanent professional crew of four. There is an established planned maintenance program adhered to by the crew. In addition to planned maintenance, the yacht has undergone regular major refits. The highlight of these refits was a complete re-power carried out at Bradford Marine in 2014.
The 2020/21 refit carried out at Broward Marine in Dania Beach involved major service of generators and main engines, service and repair of main battery banks, cleaning of all tanks and replacement of senders, renewal of bilge pumps, renewal of engine room ventilation, rebuild of fuel purifiers, new deck plates for machinery spaces, new machinery space lighting, new laundry area, installation of new fan coil units, refurbishment of steering, hydraulic pumps, and rudder bearings, refurbishment of trim tabs and machinery, new shafts and stern seals, repair and refurbishment of propellers, rebuild of stabilizers, refurbishment and rebuild of all load handling equipment including davit, windlasses and winches, new fresh water tanks, rebuild of fresh water pumps, renewal of interior and exterior lighting, new underwater lighting, refurbishment of teak deck, installation of new teak cap rails, new navigation electronics, new CCTV system, complete new galley, refurbishment and renewal of crew mess, refurbishment of tender and RIB dinghy, repaint of entire yacht, and repaint of anti-fouling paint.
The 2006/2007 refit by Rybovich in West Palm Beach included main engines serviced, both generators rebuilt, fuel tanks cleaned, new battery chargers and reconfigured battery system, service of stabilizers, new bilge pumps, new air compressor, new shore power selector, replacement of hot water heaters, new water maker filters and housings, new washer and dryers, new flybridge canvas, new steering pumps, new outside grill, new swim ladder, new inverter for satellite TV, new interior carpets, new galley and flybridge fridges and freezers, complete new exterior paint, and maintenance and service to remaining systems and equipment.
The 2014 refit by Bradford Marine in Fort Lauderdale included service of fuel purifiers, balanced propellers, fuel tank repairs, replacement of engines and transmissions, removal and replacement of all exterior doors for fair and paint, replacement and re-bedding of rudder bolts, upgrade of fresh water system, service and repair of windlasses, renewal of interior floor panels, modification of engine room for new propulsion package and subsequent alignment, new flybridge helm console, new engine wiring harnesses, modification of engine room stringers for new engines, new engine room sound insulation and perforated metal, machine polish and hand wax of all exterior paint, engine controls modifications and replacements, new stabilizer and bow thruster oil coolers, replacement of engine room deck plates and framing, repair of Atlas shore power system, new engine exhaust system, change of toilets from sea water to fresh water flush, new shaft bearings, installation of new generators, new engine propeller shafts, and new underwater lights.
The salon features carpet flooring, two sofas on the port and starboard sides, a table with four chairs, large Samsung TV, Bose sound system, Scotsman fridge and ice maker, stainless steel sink, and overhead LED lights. The galley includes a stainless steel sink with single mixer faucet and waste disposal, Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer, Phiestima wine cooler, Frigidaire 5-burner glass stovetop, stainless steel Whirlpool convection oven, Whirlpool stainless steel microwave, GE stainless steel dishwasher, GE stainless steel compactor, trash compactor, marble flooring, granite countertop, crew dining table with L-shaped sofa, and large storage compartment with access to crew quarters.
The private dining area is forward to the salon with carpet flooring, a large wood table with ten chairs, overhead LED lights, and abundant storage compartment. Crew quarters are located forward to the galley and sleep four in three rooms with two heads and showers.
The master stateroom is full beam with carpet flooring, four hanging closets, LG Blu-ray disco, TV, safe box, king bed, rotating lights, overhead LED lights, portholes on port and starboard sides, and his and her heads with shower in the middle. The starboard side guest stateroom and port side guest stateroom each feature side-by-side beds, carpet flooring, hanging closet, AC digital control, overhead LED lights, reading light, and private head and shower. The forward VIP stateroom features a queen bed, carpet flooring, closet, reading light, overhead LED lights, and private head and shower.
The companion way has carpet flooring, storage compartment, and Scotsman fridge. The flybridge features a custom aluminum soft top, large U-shape seating area with table to starboard side, sofa to the port side, large freezer, Kenyon electric grill, stainless steel sink, davit tender, and Datrex life-saving equipment. The cockpit has teak flooring, overhead lights, camera, boarding doors on port and starboard sides, access to the swim platform from the port side, engine room access hatch, and passarella on starboard side.
Below the waterline, main engine pickup strainers are external bronze alloy slotted type. There are two zincs on each trim tab, two zincs on each rudder, and two hull mounted zincs. Stabilizers comprise six fiberglass stabilizer fins by Gyro-Gale. Propellers are NiBrAl five bladed, balanced to Class III. Propeller shaft diameter is 100 mm, material stainless steel. Rudders measure 24 inches by 29 inches. Trim tabs measure 18 inches by 74 inches with twin actuators.
The engine room includes ZF Transmission Model 2070A, twin 40 Kw Kohler generators, twin C32 Acert engines, Isotemp water heater, Reverse Osmosis water maker, A sea power system, Glendinning system, Alfa Laval system, work area with air conditioning, and Samsung washer and dryer.
