Rambo is a striking open motor yacht lying in Pattaya, Thailand. She combines bold Scandinavian design, triple Volvo Penta IPS performance and a practical two-cabin layout. An exciting choice for buyers seeking a high-performance day boat or stylish weekender in Thailand.

Performance

Triple Volvo Penta IPS600 diesel engines power Rambo. Together, they deliver 1,320hp and support confident handling through joystick control. The engines show only 10 hours as of November 2025, making this yacht especially attractive for buyers looking for very low engine use. Rambo has a cruising speed of around 23 knots and a maximum speed of around 35 knots, suiting fast coastal cruising, day trips and weekend escapes around Pattaya, the Gulf of Thailand and nearby islands.

Exterior Living

This open motor yacht is designed around outdoor living. Her deck layout includes a large aft sunpad, wide teak walkways and a generous dining area. The hard top provides shade while keeping the clean, open feel of the boat. When you step on board, what is quickly evident is the impact of the Open line ethos. The boat's commitment to sunbathing platforms makes good sense on a craft of this nature. It all centres around a huge aft sunpad, butted up against a ten-man dining area amidships. When the tables and seatbacks are lowered, the sun lounger can expand to encompass around half of the entire deck area aft of the helm. The other half is equally dedicated to alfresco fun, with a comprehensive open-air galley directly aft of the three-man helm, plus a network of broad teak walkways to enable free and uninhibited movement between each section. There is an additional sunbathing space ahead of the helm on the long, tapering coachroof, plus a three-man bench seat recessed into the front of that structure.

The cockpit includes a wet bar, BBQ, cockpit galley worktop, cockpit table and comfortable seating. The hydraulic bathing platform, swimming ladder and tender garage add excellent practicality for swimming, tender use and relaxed time at anchor.

Interior and Accommodation

Below deck, Rambo offers two cabins and two heads, giving her strong weekender capability. The forward cabin provides a comfortable private space, while the guest cabin adds useful extra accommodation for friends or family. The main double suite enjoys a generosity of headroom and a sense of scale that is beautifully amplified by the tight, gleaming cleanliness of the materials, offering a continuation of the upper deck theme, with a very pared back provision of hard white panels, dark, semi-transparent doors, low-profile teak linings, bright metal blinds and sparkling LED spotlights.

The interior also includes air conditioning, refrigerator, deep freezer, electric heads, hot water, battery charger and inverter. Therefore, the yacht offers more comfort than a typical day boat while keeping her performance-focused character.

Navigation and Equipment

The FJORD 48 Open 2017 includes a strong navigation and electronics package. Equipment includes AIS, autopilot, GPS, plotter, radar, VHF, depth sounder, compass and navigation centre. She also features underwater lights, shore power, generator, automatic bilge pumps and a Fusion sound system. Overall, Rambo combines bold design, triple IPS performance, two-cabin comfort and excellent deck space, ideal for owners seeking a stylish open yacht for entertaining, fast cruising and weekend boating in Thailand.
