Overview
The Drascombe Dabber is a great little family sailboat, easily powered by sail, oar or small outboard engine. The balanced lug yawl carries 118 square feet of sail, distributed over a jib, balanced lug main and self tacking mizzen, further increasing the versatility of the boat. Including a Suzuki outboard and a road trailer this boat is great value! The smallest of the split-rig Drascombes. 15' 6" long, she carries 118 Sq Ft of sail with the help of a bowsprit &bumpkin, removable for stowage & transport. An outboard motor in its own well, will push it along when the wind drops or it is perfectly capable of being rowed from either, or both, of two positions. Equipped with a centre-plate, she draws only 8" with the plate up, 3' 0" with it down. The Drascombe Dabber was first introduced in 1972.
