Overview
"Pacific Rose" is a Limited Edition 49' Pilothouse by American Tugs, known for quality-built trawlers featuring beautiful handcrafted interiors and excellent coastal cruising capabilities, ideal for exploring Pacific Northwest waters to Alaska. The 49PH model is spacious, with an open and bright main salon offering an on-deck U-shaped galley and dinette, an easily accessible pilothouse with port and starboard sliding sidedeck doors, a midships owner's suite, and a VIP suite with private ensuite guest head access. Notable features include a spacious bridge deck suitable for carrying a large tender and adventure toys, a smartly designed lazarette with built-in shelving, and a large aft cockpit with a new Barrett enclosure. Moored freshwater on Lake Union in Seattle, moorage may be available for transfer to the new owner.
The salon is a bright, open space combining handcrafted hardwoods, light-colored soft goods, large windows (three of which open) with pleated sheer/blackout blinds, new light-colored carpeting, and LED lighting, creating a warm and inviting environment. The foyer includes newly carpeted flooring, a central vacuum system, skylight with screen, storage cabinets, CO detector, and motion-activated main overhead light. The owner's suite is located midship with a pedestal queen island bed featuring built-in storage and LED indirect blue lighting, a fold-down ceiling TV, nightstands with GFCI outlets, dual stainless steel portlights, diesel heat, carpeted flooring, and an ensuite head with stall shower. The VIP stateroom has stacked single beds with a lower double berth, headboard reading lights, multiple storage drawers, dual stainless steel portlights, carpeted flooring, hanging locker, utility locker with separate washer and dryer, hydronic diesel heat, and private access to the guest head.
The guest head is accessible from the foyer or ensuite and features a handcrafted sapele vanity with solid surface countertops, maple and sapele flooring, linen locker, medicine cabinet, Vacuflush toilet, diesel heat outlet, and a stall shower with stainless steel portlight. The galley, located forward port side of the main salon, offers a U-shaped design with solid surface countertops, stainless steel undercounter sink, quality appliances, ample storage, and a dinette with Ultraleather upholstered cushions and sapele table. The pilothouse is bright and open with inverted windshield design, handcrafted sapele cabinetry, and ultraleather seating, featuring extensive navigational equipment. The foredeck includes easy-to-maintain non-skid decking, stainless steel safety railing, Muir hydraulic anchor windlass, dual anchors, deck washdown system, and large stainless steel cleats. The tender and davit system includes a 2017 AB center console tender, Steelhead ES 1000 davit with remote, Yamaha 40HP outboard, and stainless steel chocks and mounts. The large cockpit features new Barrett enclosure, beverage center, Magma BBQ, simulated teak decking, downrigger bases, flybridge access ladder, lazarette deck hatches, mooring cleats, transom shower, courtesy lights, deck washdown, and swim platform with ladder and safety railing.
Electrical power is supplied by multiple sources including a Northern Lights 8.0kw generator, Magnum inverter/charger, solar panels, and batteries, managed via AC/DC distribution panels. Mechanical systems include a Volvo D9-575HP diesel engine with Twin Disc transmission, upgraded fuel water separation filters, rebuilt hydronic diesel furnace, water maker, hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, Muir anchor windlass, Reverso oil change system, and well-maintained shafts, propeller, and steering systems.
