Overview

2020 Vision is a 1988 Bayliner 4588 Pilothouse featuring a solid fiberglass hull, balsa/plywood-cored deck and superstructure. It offers a spacious layout accommodating a family of five, with two staterooms—queen and double—two full bathrooms with showers (one with a full bathtub), and an office/desk space with a twin bunk. The bright galley includes an electric refrigerator, 3-burner propane stove and oven, microwave, ice maker, filtered water tap, and a double sink. A Chilly Moose fridge/freezer on the flybridge provides extra storage. The vessel is equipped for extended stays with a washer/dryer, BBQ, two flat-screen TVs, and upgraded Garmin radar and navigation electronics (2022). Recent upgrades include new batteries (May 2025), a 3000W inverter/charger (May 2025), a new hot water tank (2024), and an 8500W Firman generator with electric and remote start (2023). Additional improvements include a freshwater tank for toilets (2024), a remote oil filter system for engines, new zincs, and recent bottom servicing (May 2025). Powered by twin 220 HP Hino diesel engines with bow and stern thrusters, it cruises at 12 knots, top speed 16 knots, with an estimated range of 500 nautical miles. It comes with a 2021 Marlon 14' aluminum tender with a 20 HP Mercury outboard. Features include a windlass, updated electronics, housewares, paddleboards, fishing gear, and more. Currently moored at Oyster Bay Marina in Ladysmith, BC, it is ideal for liveaboard and coastal cruising. It has many thoughtful upgrades and extras, making it ready for its next owner.
