Oceanpro Boats are manufactured by Pauanui Marine & Engineering Ltd, owned and operated by Mike Bush. Mike studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Auckland and worked as a designer for New Zealand's leading manufacturer of RIB Coastguard vessels. Subsequently, he served as the head designer and manufacturing manager for a US-based boat builder specializing in superyacht tenders, military, and work boats, catering to clients including the US Coast Guard, Department of Justice, Police, and Oracle Team USA.

Following his dream of establishing his own boat company, Mike returned to New Zealand and applied his extensive experience to create Oceanpro Boats, manufacturing custom and production aluminium boats tailored for the local market.
