Description

The First 36SE is a high-performance, pure planning racer optimized for competitive ORC racing, designed by naval architect Samuel Manuard and designer Lorenzo Argento. It offers a thrilling sailing experience with unmatched speed, balance, and handling, being 500 kg lighter than the standard First 36 due to innovative material optimization.

Constructed with a fully cored, vacuum-infused hull, deck, bulkheads, and interior components, the boat ensures exceptional lightness and stiffness. It is designed to provide superior speed, handling, and an exhilarating connection to the wind and sea.

The cockpit and interior are optimized for both racing and adventure cruising, retaining practical functionality from the original First 36 but with race-focused refinements like a tiller steering, lightweight carbon companionway stairs, carbon fiddles replacing wood, and removable crew bags instead of lockers. Safety features include lee cloth nets for sleeping under sail, and smart storage innovations balance performance and usability.

The First 36 SE is part of an enthusiastic community of sailors who value adventure, competition, and the joy of sailing. It integrates with the Seanapps mobile application for monitoring boat systems, planning routes, and reviewing sailing status via smartphone.
