Description

Following in the wake of her elder sister the Oceanis 51.1, this 40-foot cruiser, with a new hull design by Marc Lombard, offers unrivalled deck volume and interior space, and there are no concessions to performance. The 12-metre long Oceanis 40.1 is available in different layouts, draughts and rigs, adapting to the most demanding sailor's cruising requirements and satisfying their need for comfort and pleasure under sail.

Designed by naval architect Marc Lombard and styled by Nauta Design, the Oceanis 40.1 features an innovative flared hull design and steps extending over a third of the bow, resulting in a hull with true speed potential and stiffness under sail. The deck plan and ultra-spacious interior are extraordinary for a boat of this size, giving the impression of being aboard a 45-foot cruiser.

The interior, available in walnut or light oak, is remarkably bright and well-arranged, with options for two, three or four cabins and a C-shaped galley on the starboard offering ample storage and workspace. The port side hosts a large saloon with a table and removable bench, and a chart table near the companionway.

The boat provides easy living with an ergonomic cockpit for simple movement, a transom that converts to an expansive swim platform, and multiple versions tailored to different sailing styles including a First Line version with a longer mast and greater draught, and options for in-mast furling system and self-tacking jib or a classic mast with a semi full batten mainsail.

Large hatches and multiple hull and coachroof portlights provide natural light and ventilation, enhancing the spacious feel. Cabin layouts vary to suit different needs, including an owner version with an ensuite shower and head, and a four-cabin version with two forward bunk bed cabins.

The boat is also equipped with the Seanapps mobile application for monitoring boat systems and planning routes via smartphone.
