Description

The 2000 is a highly successful dinghy class with active sailing club racing fleets and championships supported by a passionate Class Association. It features modern performance racing attributes including a gennaker and a self draining cockpit for exciting sailing combined with easy handling that inspires confidence.

This sailboat is widely used as an effective training boat in leading organizations such as the British Royal Navy, Army, and Royal Air Force sailing programs. It provides a perfect transition from training to advanced sailing techniques and racing.

RS Sailing took over as licensed manufacturer in 2013, introducing many detailed improvements including new moulds and tooling to further enhance the class growth.
