Overview
The Offshore 850 Hard Top is a heavy duty offshore fishing and diving craft that won the Supreme Award at the Hutchwilco NZ Boat Show. It combines robust 8mm hull construction, a spacious layout and extensive fishing features to provide a multi day offshore platform.
Key characteristics
- Heavy duty construction with 8mm hull plates and framing and an 18 degree deadrise hull with turndown chines.
- Large fuel capacity for extended range. Standard fuel tank listed at 600 litres (page specification), review reference to 620 litres when fitted for a 450 XTO.
- Lockable cabin with substantial internal headroom, sliding side windows and full glass 6mm windscreen.
- Designed for multi day offshore fishing and diving missions with large ice capacity and underfloor wet locker space for gear.

Performance and layout notes
The 850HT is noted for a fine entry and confident ride in a variety of sea states. It provides a dry cockpit, wide side decks for easy bow access with outriggers deployed and generous storage including large under seat and underfloor lockers and large ice capacity. The helm can be fitted with very large multifunction displays and integrated systems such as Yamaha Helm Master, Zipwake trim control and Maxwell windlass.
