The Farr 50 Pilothouse, designed by world-renowned naval architect Bruce Farr and meticulously built by B.S.I. in Sweden in 1998, is a testament to innovative engineering and luxury craftsmanship. This GRP sailing yacht boasts a sleek dark blue hull, teak decking, and a timeless aesthetic that combines elegance with robust offshore capabilities.

DESIGN AND STORAGE INNOVATION

One of the defining features of the Farr 50 Pilothouse is its thoughtful design, balancing functional storage and luxurious accommodations. Unlike many yachts, the Farr 50 ensures its large forward and aft storage lockers are separate from the living spaces, allowing dinghies, sails, and gear to be stowed without compromising the saloon or cabins. The watertight forward sail locker enhances safety and accessibility, ideal for extended cruising.

PANORAMIC PILOTHOUSE

The pilothouse is a standout feature, offering panoramic views from the saloon whether seated or standing. This airy and spacious area seamlessly integrates comfort and practicality, featuring an interior steering position, a comprehensive navigation station, and plush seating for entertaining. The central placement of the saloon minimizes motion at sea, ensuring a stable and enjoyable experience for guests.

LUXURIOUS ACCOMMODATIONS

Crafted with a mahogany interior and yellow leather upholstery, the yacht's three-cabin layout is ideal for family cruising or hosting guests. Two spacious double-bed cabins feature ensuite bathrooms with showers, while a side cabin with a double bed accesses a nearby dayhead. The fully equipped galley includes a double stainless steel sink, Corian countertops, a Force 10 stainless steel stove with oven, a microwave, and multiple refrigerators and freezers, ensuring comfort on long voyages.

RELIABLE PERFORMANCE

The Farr 50 is equipped with a Maxprop self-adjusting propeller, a retractable Lewmar bow thruster, and a constant velocity drive shaft for smooth and efficient sailing. A robust 600-liter fuel capacity complements its impressive range.

STATE-OF-THE-ART NAVIGATION

The yacht features advanced Raymarine electronics, including radar/plotters at both the helm and nav station, autopilot systems, and multi-view instruments for wind, speed, and depth. Communications are enhanced with a satphone, GSM, Simrad VHF, and a Sony CD player for entertainment.

COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE

With reverse-cycle air conditioning, dual Webasto heating systems, and a water pressure system connected to a 780-liter tank, the yacht ensures a comfortable environment regardless of climate. A 420-liter holding tank, shore power, and efficient battery systems further enhance convenience during extended voyages.

In 2023, the hull of the Farr 50 Pilothouse was newly painted.

The Farr 50 Pilothouse is a rare opportunity for sailors seeking a yacht that combines offshore performance, safety, and luxurious comfort. Whether embarking on a family adventure or hosting friends on a leisurely cruise, this yacht is perfectly equipped for unforgettable journeys at sea.
