Overview
Description
ILUKA 3400 is a 34 ft (10.65 m) modern interpretation of the classic Down-East style hull, combining a traditional, elegant profile with contemporary construction, generous living spaces and efficient performance.
The design features a large cockpit for entertaining and outdoor living, connected via a wide swim platform and walk-through transom that provide level access to the helm and interior. Inside, the layout includes a spacious toilet and shower compartment, a picnic galley, a double V-berth forward and comfortable settees for relaxing and socialising.
Built using high-quality materials and modern construction techniques, the ILUKA 3400 aims for low maintenance and long-term durability. The hull is lightweight and benefits from an efficient form with a warped twist in the waterplane, reducing wash and improving efficiency. The relatively shallow draft offers good access to bays and beaches while still allowing the boat to operate confidently offshore for fishing or coastal cruising.
Propulsion is by inboard diesel or an optional hybrid engine, driving a single shaft. Bow and stern thrusters are specified to make close-quarters handling and berthing in tight spaces straightforward and safe. The 3400 can also be customised with alternative deck layouts, including centre-console style configurations, to suit different owners boating styles.
