The Nimbus 305 Drophead is an elegant open day cruiser designed for comfortable weekend trips and social activities with Scandinavian simplicity. It is built on the Smart Speed concept to provide maximum comfort at all speeds, optimizing design and function for socializing and entertaining aboard. It shares the same platform as the award-winning 305 Coupe, featuring pure Scandinavian design focused on simplicity and clever functionality.

The Smart Speed hull is designed for a comfortable ride at speeds from 0 to 22 knots with good fuel economy and adaptability to sea conditions, ensuring higher safety and comfort. The boat is also available with an electric engine from Torqeedo, offering silent and environmentally friendly boating.

Interior features two very comfortable cabins: an owner’s cabin and a side cabin sharing the head and shower. The interior exudes quality and spaciousness with integrated ventilation, opening port lights, light-colored bulkhead covers for noise reduction, mahogany fittings for warmth, and LED lighting for comfort and efficiency. The textiles are hardwearing spin-dyed acrylic in light blue and beige, with the option of Sunbrella fabric known for durability.

The cockpit offers a powered canvas hood that shelters the entire cockpit, including the helm, wet bar, and dining area. The dining table converts into a spare double berth. The boat features a spacious 6-seater U-sofa aft, a fully equipped fiberglass wet bar with a 65-liter fridge, and materials chosen for elegance and maintenance-free durability. The bathing platform, after-deck, and cockpit are built on the same level to enhance space and comfort.

Standard equipment includes a kitchen with gas top and fridge, queen bed, marine varnished mahogany interior, multiple cushions, electrical panel, bow thruster, shore power, heater, hot water system, fire-fighting system, shower cabin, navigation lights, and more.
