405 Coupe

The Nimbus 405 Coupe is a flagship cruiser designed for long-distance adventures, combining elegant Scandinavian design, superior comfort, and advanced functionality for effortless cruising.

Built in Sweden, it is the largest boat in the Nimbus Coupe Series, utilizing a unique "sidewalk" asymmetrical deck layout that provides safe and generous freedom of movement along the starboard side. This design makes moving around the boat at cruising speed convenient and enjoyable. The boat maximizes interior volume for spacious cockpit, salon, lower deck, and cabins. Key features include a large flush-fitted sliding door on starboard for quick docking access, electric powered foldable table on the aft deck, integrated sunbed on the foredeck, and innovative engine room ventilation.

The helm is equipped with twin 12-inch touch screen plotters, seating for five facing forward, and optimized visibility with matte anti-reflective materials and integrated folding wipers. The salon is bright and roomy with a large U-sofa that seats 6-8, a fold-down dining table, Scandinavian styled joinery, and LED lighting throughout with dimmers. The galley is modular and can be customized with various appliances and includes a fan.

The boat has three double berth cabins on the lower deck, including a master cabin with ensuite bathroom and two cabins sharing a shower and head. Additional features include concealed ventilation to improve interior climate, a large aft deck with L-shaped sofa and electrically powered folding table that converts into a sunbed, and safety features such as a large stainless steel bowsprit, integrated windlass at bow and stern, and flush swim platform.

The propulsion system uses a shaft drive with tunnel for efficient power transfer and reduced fuel consumption, with standard "Boat Trim System" and optional upgrade to Humphree Interceptor System. The engine room has automatic mechanical ventilation. The boat is known for modern, solid construction with vacuum injected laminate for strength, insulation, and lightness, making it practical for serious boating with minimal environmental impact.
