Overview
Description
The Vision 444 ES is an evolution of the original Vision 444, maintaining the core performance, comfort and offshore capability of the flagship model while adding a practical Extended Scoop at the stern. This extension of approximately 0.4 m increases waterline access and working space at the transom, enhancing day-to-day usability for cruising owners.
The extended scoop has been engineered to simplify boarding from a dock or tender, streamlining loading and off-loading of provisions, dive gear, and equipment. It also creates an improved platform for water activities such as diving, fishing and swimming, without compromising the underlying performance characteristics of the hulls.
True to the Vision design ethos, the 444 ES delivers balanced, efficient sailing. A self-tacking jib and carefully tuned sail plan make handling straightforward for a couple or short-handed crew. The helm is raised for superior visibility over sails and deck, supporting confident docking and harbour manoeuvres. Rudders and foils are designed for minimal speed loss through tacks and controlled handling in a range of sea states.
Internally, the Vision 444 ES mirrors the proven layout and practical detailing of the 444. The interior is spacious, light and highly functional, with systems designed for clarity and ease of maintenance. High-quality fixtures and materials are selected for longevity at sea rather than purely aesthetic effect, ensuring that the yacht remains robust after extensive miles under sail.
Construction uses advanced composite materials and vacuum-infused techniques, eliminating structural wood to maximise durability and reduce long-term maintenance concerns. The 24 V DC electrical system and well-planned engine spaces are configured for straightforward access and servicing, reflecting the yard’s focus on real-world usability.
In essence, the Vision 444 ES retains all the key attributes that earned the 444 its acclaim—strong sailing performance, intelligent ergonomics and offshore readiness—while adding a more versatile and generous aft working and leisure area, making it especially appealing for owners who prioritise water access and active use of the stern platform.
