Vision 484

The Vision 484 is the next evolution of the Vision catamaran range, a modern 48 ft performance cruising catamaran scheduled to launch in 2026. Building on the award-winning DNA of the Vision 444, it has been conceived to meet the demands of long-distance sailors who require greater volume, payload and liveability, without sacrificing the responsive handling and performance focus that define the brand.

With an LOA of 14.75 m and an 8.00 m beam, the Vision 484 offers increased interior volume, enhanced headroom and a substantially higher payload capacity of 4,300 kg. The three-cabin layout provides generous accommodation, including an extended saloon, roomier cabins and improved circulation and visibility throughout the interior, making it particularly suited to liveaboard and ocean-crossing use.

Underway, the 484 retains the user-friendly systems and ocean-ready handling of the 444, scaled and refined for the larger platform. Enhanced bridgedeck clearance of 900 mm contributes to a smoother ride in more demanding sea states, reducing slamming and improving comfort offshore. Weight distribution and sail-handling systems are carefully optimised so that the yacht remains manageable for a couple or short-handed crew.

The rig and sail plan focus on efficient, easily handled performance cruising, with a large main and self-tacking jib delivering a combined sail area of approximately 130 m². Systems access and serviceability have been upgraded over the earlier model, with cleaner system layouts and the option of owner-driven enhancements based on operational feedback from the Vision fleet.

Structurally, the 484 follows the Vision philosophy of advanced composite construction, clean engineering and robust ocean-going capability. It is built for CE Category A certification, underscoring its suitability for extended offshore passages. Practical detailing and maintenance-focused design run throughout the vessel, from machinery spaces to accommodation and storage.
