Wooden Liveaboard Ex Naval Harbour Launch
Overview
About this vessel
Introducing Barky Porcorum, HLD 6509, denoting that she was the 9th Naval Harbour Launch built in 1965. Built on the Isle of Wight. Fitted with an original diesel Foden FD6 diesel engine which has been reconditioned and regularly run. Extensive spare part inventory available by negotiation. Barky Porcorum would make an ideal liveaboard. With a spacious interior and an elegance and history rarely found, this is an opportunity to have a boat that is both practical and unique. At a very competitive price for this length and volume.
Barky Porcorum has 6 berths in 3 cabins and 2 heads one with shower. The saloon is accessed through a sliding side door from either port or starboard, the saloon has the helm station forward to port, and a large L-shaped sitting/dining area with table and bench seats. There is a companionway forward and central leading down to two forward cabins, heads and the Galley, which has recently been fitted in 2024. There is a companionway aft and to port leading down to a lounge/twin berth with a heads compartment. Engine room access is via a hatch behind the helm station.
