Maki 66 RSW Crabber/Longliner/Tender

This is a working fishing vessel outfitted for crab and black cod gear. The vessel packs 115,000 lbs salmon in two RSW holds. It features a Cold Sea 26-ton RSW system installed in 2021.

The main propulsion is a 2002 Cummins 500 hp turbocharged diesel engine with approximately 22,000 hours. It is paired with a Twin Disc MG-516 4.5:1 gear, 4" shaft, and a 54" x 40" Coolige 4-blade bronze propeller with spare. The vessel cruises at 9 knots. Steering is single helm with Wager steering and two stations with Morse controls. Navigation is supported by a ComNav 2001 autopilot.

Power generation includes a 2000 John Deere 601 75 hp diesel running a Lima 45 kW genset, a John Deere 1200 running a Lima 45 kW genset, and a new 2024 John Deere 4045 65 kW genset.

Fishing equipment includes a 600 cubic foot insulated and chilled bait locker, 4" steel picking boom, Pullmaster PL-7 winch with spare, Pullmaster M6 winch, Slattery model 95 articulating deck crane, Kolstrand longline hauler, 19" Warren Junes block (new 2025), 4" davit for crab block, and aluminum bait shed and shelter deck. A Transvac pump was installed in 2019. The vessel has two 35/25 GPM Vickers hydraulic pumps with PTO transmission.

Fishing gear available includes 300 Trilogy Dungie pots, 300 slinky pots, and 100 100-fathom skates of black cod gear with size 14 hooks at 42" spacing, anchors, buoys, buoy line, and miscellaneous other gear and parts.

Electronic systems include VHF radios, Furuno 1832 and 1715 radars, Ross T-600 flasher fathometer, Garmin EchoMap Plus 64cv (new 2022), Garmin AIS 600 (new 2022), Furuno FCV 1100L color video, Furuno CH-28 sonar, Garmin 5212 map plotter, Dell tower with ECC Globe bathometric software, and SAT phone.

Accommodation includes four Markel electric heaters, Kenmore 4-burner electric range, refrigerator, double basin stainless steel sink, marine head with shower, four berths in the fo'c'sle, and two berths in the master stateroom. The vessel carries 3,900 gallons of fuel in three steel tanks and 1,500 gallons of water in a steel tank.

Anchoring equipment includes a Nordic anchor winch, 350 lb Forfjord anchor with spare, 23 fathoms of 3/4" chain, and 75 fathoms of 3/4" cable.

A 2022 marine survey and ultrasound are available.
