Without a doubt one of the most popular yacht from the Westerly stable. Ed Dubois, who is renowned for designing comfortable and easy to sail yachts, was certainly on his game the day the design hit the paper. Fin keeled version with Bukh DV20 inboard diesel, shaft driven 3-bladed propeller and a nice crispy set of Hyde sails including stackpack. Spacious accommodation with berths for 6 over the saloon and bow cabin. Comprehensive electronic navigation package including colour GPS/Chartplotter, Radar, Depth sounder, windspeed and Standard Horizon DSC VHF with internal GPS & AIS.
Vessel powered by an 20hp, Bukh DV20 inboard diesel engine. This is situated in a sound proofed compartment beneath the companionway. Engine has been winterised and serviced every year. Reduction gearbox driving stainless steel shaft and 3-bladed fixed propeller. Rope cutter. Last serviced November 2024 prior to lift out, including new filters, oils and anodes. Single lever engine control.
Bank of 3X12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. Key style selector switches. Batteries are recharged via the engine alternator or the Sterling ProCharge charging system. Shore power connection in cockpit with cable. 12V switch panel.
Fractional sloop rigged yacht with deck stepped Kemp spars. Spinnaker rigging including pole. Mainsheet track in rear of cockpit within easy reach of helm. Running rigging has been replaced on a regular basis. Stainless steel wire standing rigging. Continous single line furling headsail system led aft to cockpit winches.

'Kandula' has berths for 6-Persons over the forward cabin and saloon. The upholstery is a smart light blue and in acceptable condition. The vessel benefits from Eberspacher diesel heating which extends the season. Forward facing chart table with navigation aids, chart reading light and drawer and cupboard storage.
White GRP hull and superstructure. Decks painted in attractive light grey non slip paint. Self bailing cockpit with varnished tiller steering. Cavernous sail locker to starboard. Dedicated gas locker with space for two bottles. 1.60M fin keel and counter hung spade rudder. All under water areas antifouled annually. Anodes will be replaced prior to launch.
