About this vessel
'Phoenix', a Sadler Phoenix 27 designed by David Sadler from the mould of the Sadler Frigate 27 but with 7 inch deeper topsides giving more headroom. The hull was built in 1988 by Island Plastics and then dry stored until the boat was completed by a boat builder and launched in 1998. The engine was fitted in 1998 and the boat was not used until then. She is well equipped for cruising with autohelm and DSC VHF radio. All her lines lead to the cockpit for ease of single or short-handed sailing. All in all, she is a well-equipped cruiser which is capable of long distance cruising. Lying Conwy Marina, North Wales.
Yanmar 2GM20 18hp inboard diesel engine, conventional shaft drive to a 3-bladed propeller. Engine installed during fitout in 1998. Wheel steering with Vetus hydraulic steering ram. Regular servicing to engine.
2 x 12v Batteries (70ah & 88ah). 12v sockets. 12v lighting. 240v Shore power with Victron Blue Smart 12v 20w 3-output battery charger. Engine alternator. 240v 3-pin double sockets. Pumped cold water supply.
Deck stepped single spreader masthead sloop. KEMP Aluminium mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging to include inner forestay - Replaced 2022. Running rigging - Replaced 2022. Slab reefed mainsail. Twin grove forestay with Pro-Furl C290 furling genoa drum. Spinnaker pole. Spinnaker deck gear. Lewmar deck clutches. All lines led aft.
Sails: Fully battened mainsail - Hood - Excellent condition. Genoa with sacrificial UV strip - Hood - Excellent condition. Jib - Hood - Excellent condition. Cruising Chute - Mouse Sails - Excellent condition. Storm jib.
Winches: 2 x Lewmar 16 halyard winches. 2 x Lewmar 40 self tailing genoa winches.
Cockpit: Plastimo 105 Compass on the binnacle. Autohelm 4000 Wheelpilot autopilot. Stowe Wind Speed and Direction - above companionway hatch (Anemometer not working - possible loose wire. There is a spare included). Stowe Speed - above companionway hatch. Stowe Depth with anchor watch alarm - above companionway hatch.
Below deck: Autohelm 4000 control unit. Stowe Navigator 2 Depth and Wind repeater. Stowe hourmeter. Cobra Marine GPS DSC VHF radio c/w fixed antenna. Clock and Barometer.
Navigation lights to include: bow, stern, deck and steaming, masthead.

4 Berths in 2 cabins. Below there is 6ft 1ins of headroom and easy movement throughout the boat. The upholstery is very recent and in good condition. There is a pilot berth to port which is wide and comfortable. An infill to the saloon seating to starboard creates another wide single berth. A double is in the forecabin. There is hanging storage adjacent to the forecabin and opposite is the heads compartment with Blakes Lavac sea toilet.
Headlining and wood cabinets are all in good order.
The galley has a twin stainless steel sink with single manual tap. There is a Vanessa cooker with two burners, oven and grill. A cool box is on the starboard side of the companionway.
