Swarbrick M27

The Swarbrick M27 has stood the test of time, and remains a popular entry level twilight and round the buoy racer/cruiser. Boasting excellent sailing performance and a functional interior, they are also ideal as a first yacht or for anyone making the transition from sailing dinghies to keel boats. This vessel was the original M27, and was professionally built by Swarbrick as the plug for the design. Kept as his own yacht for a number of years, the vessel proved exceptionally competitive, and has continued to be a top performer throughout its life. Currently a successful member of the Hobart racing scene, the vessel has been further improved with the addition of a FULL SET OF 2019 CARBON SAILS INCLUDING MAIN, NO. 1, NO. 2, AND NO. 3 HEADSAILS. With plenty of spare sails and a full set of Symmetrical kites, the vessel is ready to put its next owner on the podium!

Stepping onboard, the modern open transom provides easy access from the dock or the water. The vessel is well set up for sailing fully crewed or shorthanded, with all lines lead back to the cabin top, and in easy reach of the tiller. There is easy access around the side decks, and the generous cockpit is a great space to celebrate with the crew after a successful race!

Inside, the clean white finishes and timber trims give a light and airy ambience. The vessel offers plenty of accommodation for an overnight stay with generous double berth forward, and two single settee berths. The compact galley features a 2 burner metho stove, icebox, and sink. The package is complete with manual marine toilet.

This vessel is powered by a 8HP Yamaha 2 stroke outboard engine. This provides easy cruising at 5-6 knots, and can be stored in the cabin when not in use.
