Introducing JONO - a great example of the well-regarded British cruiser, the Hunter Horizon 26. Jono is a 1988 example, powered by the reliable Yanmar 1GM10 diesel engine, offering dependable propulsion and economical running. Designed by David Thomas, the Horizon 26 has earned a strong reputation for her balanced sailing characteristics, sturdy build, and surprisingly spacious interior. With her twin-keel configuration (ideal for exploring shallower waters and drying moorings) and efficient sail plan, she’s equally at home coastal cruising or enjoying weekend sailing adventures. Below deck, the layout is bright and functional, a practical galley, enclosed heads compartment, separate rear cabin and a comfortable saloon for her size. On deck, all control lines are led aft for ease of handling, making her an excellent choice for short-handed sailing.
