About this vessel
French-built Kennex 380 designed for safe family offshore cruising with great usage of all the space a 38ft catamaran can offer. Her owner from new has installed strengthening elements. Additionally, carbon fibre reinforces key strategic areas of her hull.
A generously covered cockpit, wide side decks and ample trampoline space make sailing a dream. Sailing elements include furling genoa, removable inner forestay, stack pack, fully battened main and balance rudders with all lines leading aft to the cockpit.
Below, she has a large saloon with seating around a central table. Upstairs the galley is to port and chart table to starboard. 3 Double staterooms, 1 aft in each hull, and a third midships in the starboard hull. Forward of this is a washroom and toilet with shower. Collision bulkheads form the forward walls in both hulls. As a bonus, there are 2 forepeak berths, 1 in each hull, accessible through large deck hatches.
Technically, she has 2 x Volvo Penta 18hp engines driving folding props through sail drives. Lithium batteries remote monitoring Vectron controller provides power for Raymarine chartplotter, radar, autopilot, VHF and SSB radios.
