EMERALD STAR is a beautiful sailing vessel with the classic look of days gone by. This full keel Cabo Rico 38 is a true offshore yacht. Designed by William Crealock, it is highly regarded among those who choose the cruising lifestyle. EMERALD STAR has been loved and cared for by her current owners since 2003. They raved about the simple ergonomics and sailing her as a couple. She has recent bottom paint, and a new shaft seal. The exterior varnish has just been refreshed. The interior was revarnished in 2020. The folding salon table is a work of art. She is hull number 151 with many custom upgrades. Her layout includes abundant cabinet storage, the shower is separate from the head, and the captain's stateroom in v-berth. No aft cabin means more storage. The settee can become a double berth for guests.

The L shaped settee converts into a double berth and the straight settee is a good single berth with lee cloth
The exquisite inlaid dining table folds away against a forward bulkhead cabinet and can be folded open to accommodate both settees
When the table is down its bulkhead cabinet reveals storage for dishes and glassware, a wine rack, and drawers for tableware

Forward of the salon is the owner's stateroom with a large double berth and a dressing seat
The head with VacuFlush toilet is to starboard and has a separate large shower
The teak woodwork throughout was redone in 2020 and looks new
Excellent ventilation is achieved with six well-placed 12-volt fans, three opening hatches with teak frames and screens, twelve SS opening ports with screens and two SS dorades
No old boat smell! Excellent natural light and visibility through the portlights is a plus for a boat this size
