About this vessel
Sea Ray 300 Sundancer Sports Cruiser with twin inboard petrol 5.7V8 engines with V-drive propulsion. Built in 1996, these were very popular craft due to the thoughtful and and useable space inside and outside. Equally important as the 300 was designed with extended stays in mind. Rear cockpit has been re-upholstered and the helm bench is awaiting refurbishment. Below decks is finished in Alcantara in great condition. Interior comforts include reverse cycle Cruisair airconditioning that also provides heating. Canopies require cleaning, reproofing and refurbishment to certain zips and vinyl windows. This is reflected in the asking price.
Vessel powered by twin inboard petrol Mercruiser 5.7 V8 engines. These 8-cylinder, 254hp units have been well maintained by her owner with most recent service in late 2025. These are the rarer but more desirable V-drive options negating the need for stern drives whilst offer conventional shaft drives on rear mounted engines. 3-Bladed bronze propellers. Twin throttles with seperate forward and reverse selector sticks. Full engione instrumentation including rev counters and both visual and audible warnings for charging, oil pressure and temperature.
Bank of 3x12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. Batteries were replaced in 2024 and are fitted with isolator switches. Batteries are recharged via the engine alternators or the onboard smart charger. Shore power and cable. 12/240V panel in saloon.
Below decks is bright and spacious enabling extended periods afloat. There are berths for 6 people over the seperate forward cabin, saloon and rear cabin/seating area. Boat is fully electric with a 2-burner electric/spirit hob, fridge and microwave oven. Moulded worktops with built in sink. Pressurised hot&cold fresh water. Large saloon with seating area opposite the galley. Interior is fully carpeted and all seating is finished in cream 'Alcantara'. Vessel has numerous portlights and deck hatches lettiong in natural light and ventilation. Heads with sea toilet and shower. Vessel fitted with Marineair airconditioning which is reverse cycle providing heating.
GRP constructed sports cruiser with planing hull. White topsides and sperstructure with 'dolphin nose' bow fitting with inbuilt anchor roller. Bathing platform at transon with bathing access ladder. Large cockpit with reupholstered bench seating to rear. Cockpit table. Raised helm position with ample room for pilot and navigator. Chart area adjacent to helm and cabin access. Underwater areas antifouled and anodes changed late 2024.
