About this vessel
The Swan 56-003 "Why Not" is one of the few models that is truly suitable for both cruising and racing, thanks to the main winches positioned in the aft cockpit. The boat and its equipment are in excellent condition, always well maintained by the previous owners and undergoing a major refit in 2022 by the current owner.
The boat has been cared for by Nautor licensed shipyards and other excellent shipyards such as Nautor Villefranche, Jamestown Boat Yard Newport, NEB Newport Boat Yard and EMV Marine Barcelona.
A number of works were carried out in 2022, including the installation of a new high-quality 12mm teak deck, a complete overhaul of the engine, the overhaul of all deck equipment, the repainting of the mast and boom in white, the upgrade of the masthead for better use of the Gennaker and Code 0, the addition of 2 new spreaders, the installation of a new rod rigging, the installation of a new 2-meter main halyard, the installation of a new plotter and an iPad for navigation, both connected via Wi-Fi.
All of this work has been carried out with the utmost care and attention, ensuring superior performance and reliability on every adventure at sea.
