About this vessel
Palmyra is a 2001 Nordhavn 35 designed by Jeff Leishman, built of fiberglass and located in Southern California. Ownership is titled in a Colorado LLC.
The owner's stateroom is forward with a walk-around queen berth athwartships, custom fit mattress, two nightstands with drawers, a comfortable bench upholstered seat, chain locker access, and extensive drawer and locker storage. Lighting and ventilation are superb, with two large sliding ports on either side and a large opening deck hatch. Two dorade vents on deck provide additional ventilation. This owner's cabin is very spacious and comfortable.
Aft to starboard is the head with Corian countertop, sink, Jabsco quiet flush electric fresh water toilet, exhaust fan with timer, spacious stall shower with seat and opening portlight, and opening hatch. Aft of the head is engine room access through a three-inch-thick, well-insulated door with inspection porthole.
To port is a large U-shaped galley. Up four steps from the galley is the pilothouse with helm and two-person upholstered bench seat to starboard. Visibility is excellent through nine pilothouse windows and a large opening hatch above. A raised dinette aft to port features an L-shaped settee with custom built mahogany table, converting to a large double berth. There is a straight settee to starboard with a fold down chart table.
The teak interior is in beautiful condition. A Diamond Sea Glaze Dutch door leads to the cockpit, well protected by the pilothouse overhang and extending to the transom. The spacious cockpit features a lazarette hatch leading to large gear storage below. She has an excellent layout for a cruising couple that wants quality, comfort and safety.
