Cookson 12

Kraken 42S is a Bruce Farr-designed Cookson 12 with a competitive edge and a track record to back it up. From the Sydney to Hobart (1st in Div 3 2018 & 4th in Div 3 2023) to first-place finishes in the Maria Island Race and Hobart Offshore Series, this vessel has consistently delivered results across IRC, ORC, and PHS formats.

Professionally maintained and recently upgraded, she'll be handed over ready to race. Recent upgrades include a brand new Doyle Stratis Offshore mainsail, new running rigging and backstay, IRC Certificate renewed January 2025, full sand and respray with hard antifoul 2025, and hull, keel and rig inspections 2025.

Below deck, she sleeps 10 with a functional crew layout. The enclosed head features an electric toilet and hot/cold showers. A full galley includes a SMEV stove/oven, fridge, and generous storage. Accommodation features upholstered saloon settees and quarter berths with pipe cots.
