TYPHOON, a 2003 Grand Banks Eastbay 43 HX combines the pedigree of one of the most respected Downeast builders with a very current systems package. Finished in classic Flag Blue with a teak cockpit and non-skid on the decks and house, she looks exactly like what an Eastbay should: purposeful, elegant, and timeless.

Built by Grand Banks Yachts on the renowned C. Raymond Hunt modified deep-V hull, the 43 HX is celebrated for her soft, dry ride and surefooted tracking. The hull carries enough deadrise to slice through a head sea, yet maintains excellent efficiency and manners at displacement and planing speeds. With twin Caterpillar 3126 turbo diesels and this hull, owners typically see an easy cruise in the mid-20-knot range with a top end in the high 20s, depending on load and conditions.
